Celebrating Over 25 Years of Helping Montana Agriculture Grow

Heartland Seed was founded in 1995 by two local farmers, Bing VonBergen and Steve Grove. Together they started Heartland Seed to supply Central Montana with high-quality seed and the newest genetics. Over 25 years later Heartland has progressed with the farmers and ranchers to supply them with wheat, barley, pulses, cereal forages, alfalfa, grasses, and cover crops. Bing and Steve continue to raise a majority of the supply within a few miles of the seed plant.
